Camp
Challenge is located approximately 20 miles east of
Arroyo Grande. From North or South on Highway 101, take the Arroyo Grande/Grand
Ave./Lopez Lake Exit and go east to Lopez Lake. Follow the road over the earthen dam around the lake.
After crossing the concrete bridge, take an immediate right (if you go straight, you’ll end up in the Lopez Lake
Recreation Area). Go one mile. At
the fork, turn left up the hill and go 7 miles. Lopez Canyon Conference Center, the facility Camp Challenge uses, is located about three miles beyond
Camp French.
